Autoclásica Madrid in detail
Autoclásica Madrid deserves special mention. It's the most important outdoor meet in the country, held at Madrid's Casa de Campo every June.
Over 1,500 classic cars and 40,000 visitors gather in three days. There's exhibition area, parts market, classic auction and concours.
Expert tip: go Saturday morning early. At 10am the best cars are parked and you can see them before crowds.
Circuit events
If racing is your thing, there are three must-attend annual circuit events:
- Jarama Classic (April): amateur drivers with classics on track
- Espíritu de Montjuïc (June): classics and historic F1 at Montmeló
- Jarama Classic Circuit (October): season closing, trophies
All allow paddock entry with general ticket. Unique opportunity to see race cars up close and talk to drivers.
How to participate with your classic
Most meets allow free entry to classics registered before 1995. Process is simple:
- Check event's official website (February-March)
- Register online with technical sheet and photos
- Pay symbolic fee (€10-30)
